Puroresu updates

Two big puroresu shows took place this weekend, first was the Osaka Pro hosted Super-J Cup: The 4th Stage this past saturday at the Osaka Castle Hall. The showed featured Jr heavyweights from every promotion in Japan and was aired live on PPV. The show however still came up a bit short as the recorded attendance for the show was 6,800 in a venue that could house 16,000 (Ouch!).

Next was All Japan Pro Wrestling's final big Nippon Budokan Show ever that was aired live on PPV just this afternoon. This show marked the end of 29 years of history as AJPW had been running shows in the Nippon Budokan since 1975. The only other show planned to be held there now by AJPW is their big Giant Baba Memorial Show next year.
